Beloved friends

On our way to the group leader training we got the shocking message that Bodhiray has left his body in a car accident on the way towards Ankara the day before. He was on the way to spend some holidays with his girlfriend Harika, who was also badly hurt in the accident.

We feel tremendous pain of loosing our beloved friend. It is a great loss for all of us who have worked and lived for so many years together with him. Yes, we are in shock, we are in pain and we remember many loving moments with him, which we will never forget.

With our training we spend a day the way we feel Osho is teaching us to face death: with a taste of Zen – with courage, silence and celebration. A week before Bodhiray left his body, he finished a Mystic Rose Meditation camp in Ukraine and Dwari told us that it was a very important process for him. Remembering him, we spent the morning with three hours silence and celebration like in the last week of the Mystic Rose Meditation.

It was an amazing experience to drop into silence and feeling so connected with him. Later on in the afternoon we listened to a very beautiful lecture from Osho talking about the fear of death and that death is not the enemy. If you like to hear it, the discourse is called:

DEATH – THE GREATEST FICTION

After Kundalini meditation we went to the Osho White Robe Brotherhood Meditation, which was dedicated to our beloved fellow traveller Bodhiray. More than hundred people dancing and celebrating attended it. In the night we were watching the video about the events of the day when Osho left his body and felt so much gratefulness for Osho teaching us the art of living and dying.

Later on a friend reminded us how often Bodhiray mentioned in his groups to live totally and dangerously. Truly, this was a unique day of love and meditation to accompany our beloved friend for a little while on his journey towards the beyond.

“Yes, Bodhiray, we miss you so much and we are so grateful for what you have contributed to our hearts and our work. Your death will add another dimension to our life and the work we shared and which we know you loved so much. It will give a new depth to it, which can only come out of the experience of letting go of a beloved fellow traveller and a deep acceptance of the way existence works, when it takes your body away from us. In our hearts you will be always present

For 21 years you have travelled with us and 15 years ago you became part of the Osho Diamond Breath team. Together we created our breath school and the breath training and enjoyed working together. Now you will be a beautiful diamond invisibly shining and accompanying us further on in our work! Beloved friend, we keep you in our heart!“

Today we were remembering how important friendship was for Bodhiray and this year’s training will be dedicated to celebrate the art of being friends on the path of transformation. We would love to see many of our old and new friends coming here for expressing together our love and gratitude to Osho and saying thank you for all what Bodhiray has helped us to create.

Looking back for a moment it is amazing to see how we have grown deeper in our transformation over the last years and moved towards being a mystery school where life and death become part of our awakening. Death is such a strong reminder to live life as total as possible and this is what we always tried to teach in our working together as friends.

With joy and gratitude to all of you who travel with us on the journey towards love and meditation.
